Blair Tech Warranty, Technical Support and RMA Return Information


Warranty Period: 6 Months (180 calendar days) effective from date of shipment, unless stated otherwise by product listing, order quote or invoice.

Blair Tech Parts and Labor Warranty begins from the original date of shipment. Products may be returned within initial 30 days with free / prepaid domestic ground shipping for full refund or replacement at discretion of Blair Tech, with a 15% restocking fee applied to all items returned for any reason other than physical damage caused in transit or item defects, as determined by Blair Tech technical repair & support staff. The remaining warranty term after initial 30 days is for service / repair only, with return shipping being the responsibility of the buyer.

The Blair Tech Parts and Labor Warranty provides Technical Support at no additional charge to the named buyer only and guarantees covered items will not be defective or damaged upon arrival and will operate as intended for the duration of the full warranty period. Warranty covers equipment against functional defects not covered by the original manufacturer warranty and operating system software installed only by Blair Tech. This warranty does not cover laptop batteries, special needs, upgrades or additional software required to operate peripheral items, any additional software or component additions or upgrades made by the buyer or third-party service providers, end user neglect, misuse or unauthorized repair which may result in warrantied equipment’s operation being compromised, slowed or made inoperable from its intended use.

The Blair Tech Parts and Labor Warranty extends only to the original named buyer contact or company from whom the order upon which the warrantied equipment was provided and is not transferable. Warranty is valid only within the 48 contiguous United States and the lower provinces of Canada. Data recovery or any like service is not included under this Warranty. Blair Tech is not responsible for any data that may be lost or damaged during use, transit or repair of warrantied equipment.

To obtain Blair Tech warranty service, please contact Blair Tech Customer Support at 1-855-252-4784. Please be prepared to provide the name / contact of the individual or company who originally placed the order for the equipment, the specific device make, model and serial information, and either the order #, invoice # or PO # from which the equipment was purchased and fulfilled. Blair Tech support is available Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM Eastern Time, with the exception of US holidays. If the issue cannot be resolved by a support technician over the phone, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be provided. The RMA number should be visible on the returned package. All returned products must have an RMA number before being sent to:

Once the item is received, Blair Tech support technicians will diagnose the equipment and either repair hardware issues or replace the item with a matching or like model. The repaired or replaced item will then be returned to the original buyer’s contact and address by ground transit. If determined that it is not a hardware issue, Blair Tech will contact the equipment owner with an estimated price for repair or replacement of the item. If repair or replacement is not approved, the equipment will be returned to the owner in the condition in which it was received by ground transit with return shipping fee charged to the owners account.

Blair Tech Warranty and Technical Support DOES NOT include:

Laptop batteries, repair and/or replacement of Computer Products or Components damaged by accident, abuse, modification or attempted repairs by anyone other than Blair Tech, unsuitable physical or operating environments, improper maintenance, intentional misuse of products, tampering or removal of Blair Tech serial numbers or certification stickers, failures caused by a product for which Blair Tech is not responsible, as well as acts of God including but not limited to floods, lightning, earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes.


Warranty additionally excludes installation issues with products purchased elsewhere. Warranty does not cover any software issues or unauthorized repairs/upgrades. Changing internal components in the equipment during the effective warranty period will void the warranty in-full, unless specifically instructed by Blair Tech support technicians or with written confirmation from a named Blair Tech employee.

This Warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. Blair Tech specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Blair Tech's responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware and accessories is limited to repair or replacement as set forth above. Blair Tech is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with Blair Tech products, and any failure to maintain the confidentiality of data stored on the product. Blair Tech specifically does not represent that it will be able to repair any product under this warranty or make a product exchange without risk to or loss of programs or data.



RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Items may be returned for any reason within 30 calendar days of the orders original ship date with a 15% restocking fee applied for items returned for any reason other than physical damage caused in transit or item defects. Special / custom configured orders cannot be returned for any reason after their ship date unless written consent from Blair Tech staff is provided to the buyer. Not yet shipped Special / custom orders canceled later than 24 hours after buyer’s confirmation of purchase are subject to a 15% cancellation & restocking fee.

Exchanges are available only for the initial 30 calendar days from order ship date, unless otherwise determined by Blair Tech technical staff.

Original buyer must report any visible damage within 30 days of ship date to be eligible for a refund or exchange based upon such visible damage. If delivered items with visible damage are not reported within this time frame, buyer will not be eligible to obtain a refund or exchange as a remedy of the visible damage.

All returned items must be approved by Blair Tech service department before being eligible for return and warranty action. Buyer must first contact Blair Tech support who will provide buyer with a “Return Merchandise Authorization” (RMA) form by email which is to be printed and included with the package(s) upon return.

Please use original packaging for RMA approved returns, if possible. If the item is not packaged securely, and upon delivery is found to be damaged as a result, no refund will be issued and warranty will be void.

Original shipping costs are not refundable for any reason.

RMAs are processed within 2 business days of delivery Blair Tech returns facility. Once RMA has been processed, Buyer can expect refund or exchange shipment to be confirmed within 3 business days. Note that It may take an additional 3-5 business days for funds to appear back to the credited account due to the varying processing time of different banks. Any item returned without a valid and pre-approved RMA number, will not be processed for return, exchange or refund.
